This concept takes advantage of emerging technology. The concept takes advantage of drone swarm technology which allows a team of drones to work together in search and rescue missions.
Currently, search and rescue efforts are undertaken by helicopters, ground units, and dogs. Our drones work as a group to autonomously fly in search patterns to locate missing people. Once found, a pack containing food, water and a communication device is dropped. GPS coordinates are then sent to mission control and help is on the way. The swarm drones are designed to find missing people faster than existing methods, increasing their chance of survival.
